Silence has Fallen Ch.3

“Oh my Notch” was all the wizard could think of saying after finding the Doctor’s two hearts. He looked to Sky with a horrified look.

“What is it?” Sky asked, completely unaware of the fact that the man in front of them was not Minecraftian, unlike the legend said.

“He...he has two hearts” Seto answered.

“Two hearts?” Jerome said completely shocked “That’s impossible, the legend said of Minecraftian blood not whatever he is.”

“Well, apparently, the legend was wrong.” Setosorcerer said, returning to trying to heal the Doctor.

After a few moments of trying and failing Seto shook his head as he stepped away “It’s impossible. If the Doctor isn’t Minecraftian, I can’t heal him. The only question that I actually have is; what is he?”

“We’ll figure that out later. What we can find out now is where we are.” Said Ant, loading his bow and walking to the door, being followed by Husky, next came Fluffy.

Before the rest could file out everyone was shoved back in by Ant as they realized they were surrounded by stone angels that didn’t move, robotic things that looked like upside-down trash cans, and metal men. They closed the door and a couple of them tried to figure out the lock. After a few moments, they got it locked.

“What’s wrong? Is something out there?” Sky asked confused.

Antvenom said nothing he just nodded a look of utter terror on his face. “Stone angels, moving upside-down trash cans, and strange metal men.”

After Ant finished that sentence, everyone heard a gasp for air behind them and pulled their weapons out, only to find the Doctor had woken up.

“Doctor!?” Seto said as the Time Lord sat up, the gash on his head had disappeared, they failed to notice a black rose petal fall from his shoulder. He didn’t let the Doctor speak as he told him, “You have two hearts! What are you? ‘Cause you’re certainly not Minecraftian!”

The Doctor looked around, unable to meet the looks of the others. After a few moments he finally sighed “Fine, I’m not a Minecraftian like you. I am the last Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey.”

“I’ve heard of that planet. It was destroyed by a war, right?” asked Jason.
The Doctor went rigid as he met the spaceman’s gaze. He just nodded but as the TARDIS was being overcome with silence he finally broke it.

“It was destroyed. I had no choice, so I guess I earn the title of ‘Oncoming Storm’.” the Doctor replied sadly. After a while he stood up, and started pressing buttons while asking “Now, where are we? I just randomly teleported us somewhere, putting the TARDIS in silent mode though of course.”

Ant narrowed his dark gaze and grumbled “Well if you don’t mind you just teleported us to a room full of stone angels, trash cans, and metal men. Can you tell us who they are!?”

The Doctors eyes widened as Ant described his enemies. “The Weeping Angels. The Daleks. The Cybermen. All here?”

Sky raised an eyebrow “You know them? Might I ask how; and do they want to kill you?”

“It’s a very long story but you have trust me when I say ‘Don’t go outside’,” the Doctor sighed as his green gaze traveled to the TARDIS door “These monsters aren’t friendly and they will kill you.”

All of them nodded, no one wanted to die surrounded. The Doctor crossed the TARDIS and nodded at the others before opening the door. At once hisses and many voices were heard the second he stepped into the open. The others followed mindlessly after the Doctor, wanting to see how this would end. As they walked out, they saw a very familiar person in the middle of the room, hanging by her wrists. She was covered in her own purple blood and knocked out.

“Star!?” the Doctor yelled but three Daleks blocked his path from the familiar dragon hybrid. “What do you want? How do you remember me?”

A Dalek said in it’s flat monotone voice “Some remembered after our memories of you were erased, but luckily your friend was nice enough to help us.” The Doctor narrowed his eyes, only to widen them again in remembrance that they were also surrounded by Angels. He yelled, “Look at the Angels. And no matter what. Do NOT look away. Do NOT blink if you value your lives!”  

The Minecraftians did as they were told, but after the Doctor yelled Star opened her eyes, they seemed lifeless but she looked straight ahead at the head of the Daleks.

“Doctor.” the Dalek roared “It appears that you have entered Minecraftia just to save your friends, that is pathetic. Why risk your own life, not to mention the fact you’re allowing the Silence to know you’re still alive.”

The Doctor narrowed his eyes and growled “It was really pathetic when one simple Time Lord burned over ten thousand of your ships in one sitting. Now don’t tell me who’s pathetic.”

Jerome had to restrain himself from calling out ‘Apply cold water to the burned area’.But the Doctor continued, everyone could tell he was getting angry “So I suggest you give my friends back before I do something I’ll regret.”

The head Dalek simply replied “Oh I don’t think so, besides this is going to get fun watching your friends die.”

The Doctor responded,”And what makes you think I would allow that?”

“We know you won’t allow it, but instead we’ll force you to watch starting with your own pet dragon hybrid.”

That was awarded by a dragon’s growl from Star. The Doctor opened his mouth for a sharp retort but Star had beat him to it “Oh I’m a pet? What about you being nothing but a trash can!?”

“Is that how you want to go then?” the head Dalek growled “Well then, EXTERMINATE!”

Suddenly the bolt fired, a streak of white light racing straight towards the dragon hybrid. The Doctor tried to take the shot but before he could, a purple wall appeared in front of her. The Doctor turned to see Seto’s eyes glowing light purple, while his hands glowed the same color. As the beam hit the entire field rocked with energy and white cracks appeared in the wall but didn’t break. Seto winced but he still kept the field up.

“Seto!” the Doctor yelled over to the wizard “Try to keep the field up a little longer so we can get Star!” The only response he got was a slight nod.

The Doctor carefully undid the chains with the sonic screwdriver, luckily Jason caught Star before she hit the ground. The Doctor signaled for the others to get inside the TARDIS just as Seto put down the field and jumped in.
